What is EJARI?

EJARI is a government-run program to regulate all rental contracts in Dubai.
EJARI is required if you are renting a physical office but is also needed if you wish to obtain or renew your mainland license.

What is sustainability?

Earlier, businesses were required to have a minimum area of 200 square feet to obtain or renew a trade license.

RERA will maintain its record of the agreement and update changes to the record as they occur.

your EJARI Certificate will be issued within approximately two working days.
The official EJARI contract will include a unique EJARI ID number.

What are the documents required to register for the EJARI program?

There are several required documents that you must prepare while registering for the EJARI Program.

 

Check them out with the following list:

• Original signed lease agreement
• Security deposit receipt
• Emirates ID for the tenant
• A copy of the owner’s passport (if an individual)
• Tenant’s passport (for non-GCC nationals)

A copy of a valid power of attorney document

(if the contract was signed by the employment agency);
Power of attorney documents must be renewed every year to remain valid
UAE visa for tenant (for non-GCC nationals)
A copy of the title deed of the rented property
Commercial license (in the case of commercial real estate).

and EJARI invoice in addition to the documents mentioned above.
